Click \"Add Column\" to add more columns.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Column Header<\/strong>:<\/td>\n<td>The name of the column in the table. This can be any text you want. First click the column you want to name, then type the name into this box.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Add Events<\/strong>:<\/td>\n<td>You can add an event to the column header to dynamically update its value, in a similar way to adding events to a <a title=\"Text Label\" href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-explorer\/explorer-studio\/controls\/text-label\/\">Text Label<\/a>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Column Content<\/strong>:<\/td>\n<td>The values that will be displayed in a column. You can type the syntactically correct form directly in here, or use Add Events or Add Dataset Field to automatically add the correct syntax.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Add Events<\/strong>:<\/td>\n<td>You can add an event to the column content\u00a0to dynamically update its value. This feature is not used very often.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Add Dataset\u00a0Field<\/strong>:<\/td>\n<td>The name of the column\u00a0in the dataset to use in order to populate this column of the Dataset Table.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"page-subheading\"><span id=\"Tutorial\">Tutorial 1. Specifying Column Names<\/span><\/h3>\n<div>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">In this tutorial, we'll display a portion of a dataset in a table by identifying the name of the columns we want to display. Choose the <a title=\"Grid Layout\" href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-explorer\/explorer-studio\/controls\/grid-layout\/\" data-slimstat-tracking=\"true\" data-slimstat-callback=\"true\">grid<\/a>\u00a0layout \u2013 you can adjust the rows and columns if you like but it\u2019s not important for this exercise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">You will need to adjust the configuration to suit your data at your site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Step 1.
