This article applies to P2 Explorer versions 4.3.0-4.5.5.<\/p>\n

Problem<\/strong>: 500 Internal Error trying to open P2 Security<\/p>\n

Description<\/strong>: When trying to access P2 Security Connect, a 500 Internal error appears.<\/p>\n

Cause<\/strong>: This is due to Anonymous Authentication being enabled on the P2 Security website. The site requires that Anonymous Authentication be disabled.<\/p>\n

Resolution<\/strong>: Ensure Anonymous Authentication is disabled.<\/p>\n

  1. Open IIS Manager.<\/li>\n
  2. Expand the site on which P2 Security is installed.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the Security.Connect.WinLogon<\/strong> node.<\/li>\n
  4. In the IIS group, double-click Authentication<\/strong> \"Authentication.<\/li>\n
  5. Ensure Anonymous Authentication<\/strong> is Disabled<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
