The following instructions describe how to create\u00a0an SSL website, once an SSL\u00a0Certificate has been deployed<\/a>. This is required for IFS OI Server and IFS OI Explorer.<\/p>\n

  1. Open IIS Manager.<\/li>\n
  2. Right-click the Sites<\/strong> node and select Add Website<\/strong>.

  3. In the Add Website<\/strong> window, specify the following:\n

    Site name<\/strong>: SSL Web Site
    \nPhysical Path<\/strong>: C:\\inetpub\\wwwrootssl
    \nBinding Type<\/strong>: https
    \nPort<\/strong>: 443 (if you choose another port, you will need to explicitly specify this in the URL for IFS OI Server Management).
    \nHostname<\/strong>: The fully qualified domain name of the web server (e.g cadrondemo01.petroleumplace.com).<\/p>\n

    Note: If your SSL certificate has been issued to an ALIAS<\/strong> instead of the fully qualified domain name, then the Hostname should match the alias (e.g. P2Apps). Also note that all configuration files will also need to use the alias.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

    SSL certificate<\/strong>: Select the certificate you deployed in the previous step.
