<\/a><\/p>\nAt any time, you can hover over the wind vane to see the actual reading for:<\/p>\n

- Average\u00a0wind direction<\/li>\n
- Minimum\u00a0wind direction<\/li>\n
- Maximum\u00a0wind direction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Ordinarily, the wind vane has a transparent background with grey shaded zones.\u00a0The shaded zones represent 'danger' and 'warning' zones.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the wind vane contains a blue semi-circle divided in two, representing an average wind direction, as well as maximum and minimum directions. These are usually used to indicate the prevailing winds.<\/p>\n
Note:<\/strong>\u00a0The colours shown here refer to the default style for the wind vane. Colours are configurable during page design so may be different from site to site.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Danger Zone<\/h3>\n
The 'danger' zone indicates the wind is blowing in a direction that is considered to be a problem.<\/p>\n
When the wind direction is within the darker 'danger' zone, the zone and outline of the wind vane change to red.\u00a0<\/p>\n
