For help on the latest version, see <a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-server\/importexport\/exporting-your-config\/\">Exporting Your\u00a0Configuration<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">P2 Server Management allows you to export all the data in the P2 Server database to an Excel\u00ae spreadsheet. The main reason for doing this is so you can more easily <a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-server\/importexport\/updating-the-config\/\">update the configuration<\/a>\u00a0in bulk.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Exporting the data is simple.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"intro-text\">\n<li>In P2 Server Management, click the Import\/Export icon in the navigation bar.<\/li>\n<li>Select the \u201cExport\u201d option from the middle panel.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u201cExport Server Data\u201d button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1.png\" rel=\"lightbox-0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-18708 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1.png\" width=\"1084\" height=\"762\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1.png 1084w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1-768x540.png 768w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1-150x105.png 150w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1-24x17.png 24w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1-36x25.png 36w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/export-1-48x34.png 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1084px) 100vw, 1084px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"note\">Note: You can also download a blank version of the spreadsheet by clicking \"Export Template\". It will have the same tabs and column headings, but will not contain any data. You should use this if you are <a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-server\/importexport\/importing-from-scratch\/\">importing configuration into a fresh database<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">The \"Save As\" dialog box opens and you will be prompted to save the Excel spreadsheet to your computer. You can change the name, but the file format MUST be .xlsx.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Important!<\/strong><\/span> You must keep the Export page open during the export process. The important thing to note here is that the <strong>Global Id<\/strong> column has been filled in for all tabs.
