The number of data points depends on the sample interval (for example, 3600 <em>seconds<\/em>), and the method of interpolation depends on the sample method (for example, Average). Interpolation options are available for line and area charts.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous charts do <em>not<\/em> have a tooltip option.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous charts can be configured to have a <strong>Range Selector<\/strong> and also one or more <a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-explorer\/trends\/hairlines\/\"><strong>Hairlines<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 class=\"page-subheading\">Tutorials<\/h2>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">The following short tutorials demonstrate how to set up the two different types of chart. We'll display the data in a Bar Series.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">1. Create a new page in Studio, and drag a <strong>Bar Chart<\/strong> component onto the page (this is in the Chart group in the toolbox).<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">2. Assign a dataset to the chart's <strong>Data<\/strong> property. In our example, we use the <i>OilDowntimeByReason\u00a0<\/i>dataset query.
