Overview<\/h2>\n

The Bullet Graph is similar to a horizontal bar chart but allows users to\u00a0compare two values in relation to one another.<\/p>\n

For example, an actual value (represented by a horizontal bar) and a target value (represented by a vertical line).<\/p>\n

The following diagram shows a Bullet Graph\u00a0being configured:<\/p>\n

Actual<\/strong>:<\/td>\nThe actual value of interest. This is represented in the bullet graph by the blue horizontal bar.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Target<\/strong>:<\/td>\nThe value that we are aspiring to reach, such as a sales target. This is represented in the bullet graph by the black vertical line. If the Measures\u00a0are expressed as a percentage, the component\u00a0will use this field to calculate the actual percentage value for comparison with the measures.\u00a0<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Measure 1 - Measure 3<\/strong>:<\/td>\nThe values for up to three different comparative segments, each represented by a grey section. This can be used to specify different thresholds, such as good<\/em>, OK<\/em>, and bad<\/em>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Percentage<\/strong>:<\/td>\nSelect this check box if the Measures are\u00a0expressed as a percentage of the target.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Reversed<\/strong>:<\/td>\nSelect this check box to invert the Actual and Target values. This has the effect of switching the background gradients.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Style<\/strong>:<\/td>\nThe style to apply to the Bullet Graph.\u00a0If you are a Style Administrator,\u00a0you can\u00a0add a new Bullet Graph\u00a0style.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Bullet Graph is a useful component to display comparisons with\u00a0several measures. In this tutorial, we\u2019ll show you how to use the Bullet Graph to display actual vs planned\u00a0production data for a selected well. This is often used in production summary reports. The graph will change depending on the entity that is selected from an Option Links. At the end of the tutorial, your page should look something like this:<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: This configuration uses the Sample Data <\/em>table\u00a0and datasets that can be optionally made available\u00a0during initial installation and setup. If you don't have access to this data, you will need to adjust the configuration to suit your data at your site.<\/p>\n

Step 1. Prepare a Studio Page<\/strong><\/p>\n
