You can also use a <a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-explorer\/explorer-primers\/variables\/\">variable<\/a> to drive this value.\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Note<\/strong><\/em>: Internet Explorer users can use the URL to open a file on their local network, using a relative file path (e.g. \\machinenameSharetest.txt). The domain of the site accessing the file must be added to Trusted Sites, and the file extension must be supported by the browser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Header<\/strong>: The text to show in the tab when the URL is opened. If left blank, the tab will show 'New Page'.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tab Type<\/strong>: Choose to open the link in a new tab inside IFS OI Explorer, the same tab inside IFS OI Explorer, or in a new tab in the browser.\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>Note<\/strong><\/em>: For security reasons, Explorer will not display insecure content within a secure context. If Explorer is using HTTPS (secure) then a URL using HTTP (insecure) will be opened in a new browser tab regardless of the specified Tab Type. I.e. When a user clicks a component that has been configured to set variables, each <em>Target<\/em> variable in a pair is updated with the value of the <em>Source<\/em> in the <em>Variables<\/em> pair (see <a href=\"#Variables\">Variables<\/a>). Note that variables are case-sensitive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Each variable mapping needs a source (coming from the page you are on) and a target (for the trend\/ page\/ URL you are opening). Often, you will want to pass a variable (e.g. selectedEntity), but you can also pass specific values.
