{"id":42183,"date":"2018-12-06T11:16:06","date_gmt":"2018-12-06T03:16:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/help\/?page_id=42183"},"modified":"2020-11-11T17:47:13","modified_gmt":"2020-11-11T09:47:13","slug":"testing-all-flow-events","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/sentinel\/sentinel-studio\/creating-user-processes\/how-to-test-a-process\/testing-all-flow-events\/","title":{"rendered":"Testing All Flow Events"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"intro-text\">When you validate all flow events at once, <a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/sentinel\/sentinel-studio\/creating-user-processes\/validating-the-logic-of-a-process\/\">validation<\/a> occurs in the following order:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"intro-text\">\n<li>Process First (for the very first point of data)<\/li>\n<li>Pre Process<\/li>\n<li>Start (for every other point of data)<\/li>\n<li>Post Process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">All other flow events are run only when the monitor is run (not the debugger).<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Validation of all flow events will only work when you use the .CSV data file to supply test data.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">To validate all flow events of a user process:<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">1. Ensure you have supplied test data in the form of a .CSV data file.<\/p>\n<p class=\"left-bar\">Note: Remember to edit your file if you have included <a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/sentinel\/sentinel-studio\/sentinel-studio-features\/process-parameters\/\">Process Parameters<\/a> in your process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">2.
