This process has an optional Max <\/strong>or Min <\/strong>limit. It tests two temperatures (supplied by the Temperature <\/strong>and Primary Temp <\/strong>inputs) against a maximum limit (Max<\/strong>) and a minimum limit (Min<\/strong>). It raises an event and changes to the state of the entity to Primary<\/strong> when either temperature is greater than Max<\/strong> or lower than Min<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If the limit is then exceeded for longer than the Duration<\/strong>, the state of the entity changes to Secondary<\/strong>. The entity will then only change back to the Normal <\/strong>state if the value goes below either Min <\/strong>or Max<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The logic for testing against Min <\/strong>and Max <\/strong>are contained in the sub-modules, Min Check<\/strong> and Max Check<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since the inputs are derived from IFS OI Explorer entities, these must be configured in the Sentinel monitor test.<\/p>\n

The UI Editor shows how the layout could be configured. The entry fields are added automatically, but the labels must be added in Sentinel Studio.<\/p>\n

Note that Duration <\/strong>is a pre-formatted time field that has been constructed from the Duration<\/strong> Process Parameter, which has a Time Period <\/strong>parameter type.<\/p>\n
