P2 Sentinel 4.6 incorporates Explorer's security framework into the core Sentinel product, allowing better integration between the two applications. It also moves the Case Management web interface into Explorer, which allows for easier management of cases via an improved web experience.<\/p>\n

P2 Sentinel 4.6.5 adds two enhancements and addresses some issues raised by customers.<\/p>\n

Compatibility with P2 Explorer<\/h2>\n

P2 Sentinel 4.6.5 is compatible with P2 Explorer 4.9.1.<\/p>\n

Default Case Assignee in Sentinel Events<\/h2>\n

When a case is raised from a Sentinel event, Sentinel administrators can assign a user to the case by default.<\/p>\n

In the State Configuration section of a Monitor test, a new \u2018Default Assigned User Override\u2019 option has been added.<\/p>\n

Selecting this option, you can override the default assigned user, and specify another user to whom you want to assign the case.<\/p>\n

You can assign different users for different states.<\/p>\n

View Monitor Status In Explorer<\/h2>\n

P2 Sentinel now allows Explorer users to view the status of a monitor on a native Explorer page. A new page component is available in Explorer 4.9.1 which gets the monitor status information from P2 Sentinel, and displays it on a page. For details, refer to the P2 Explorer 4.9.1 Release Notes.<\/p>\n
