The Trend Toolbar is active when the currently selected tab in the display area is a \"\" Trend<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If the complete toolbar does not fit on the screen, the remaining options can be found by clicking the ellipsis on the right side of the toolbar.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> On mobile devices, the mobile trend menu is displayed instead of the full toolbar. Read more in Trend on a Tablet. <\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Functions of the Trend Toolbar<\/h2>\n

The trend can be manipulated using the buttons on the toolbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/a><\/td>\nSave<\/strong><\/a><\/td>\nClick the Save button and select either Save, Save As<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Snapshot <\/strong>options.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/td>\nSave Metadata<\/strong><\/td>\n\n

Save the tag metadata values for all tags and attribute values that are displayed in the trace table, including Min, Max, Units and Description. The Save Metadata<\/strong> button becomes available only when a trace has been added to the Trend Window.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> You need Tag Edit privileges to save the metadata.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Click to open the submission form. Fill in the required details and click Submit to send the trend for approval.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Once a trend has been submitted, it appears in the\u00a0Pages and Trends Pending Approval\u00a0section in\u00a0My Environment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When opened from this list,\u00a0Approve\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Reject\u00a0<\/strong>buttons become available in the Trend Toolbar for users with\u00a0admin privileges.<\/p>\n

To approve or reject a trend, hover over the item and click the appropriate action button.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  • Refresh Data updates the data points in the trend.<\/li>\n

Export the trend's data to a .csv file for downloading.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> Read more about the trend's data in the Trend Controls<\/a> topic. Time range, sample method, and sample interval all determine what data is fetched. This is the data that is then exported. So, if, for example, the Adaptive Raw sample method is selected, the trend will only export the rendered data, not all of the raw data.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

    Note:<\/strong> If a trend includes data points of zero, then instead of showing an error for the Log Scale Type, Explorer plots a point that is close to zero and displays this as zero.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/td>\nY Axis<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\nClick and select Separate,<\/strong> Shared<\/strong> or Multiple.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Select Separate for each trace to be plotted against its own axis.<\/li>\n
  • Select Shared for all traces on the Left Y-Axis (L) to be plotted against a single, shared Left Y-Axis, and all traces on the Right Y-Axis (R) to be plotted against a single, shared Right Y-Axis.<\/li>\n
  • Select Multiple to view a separate Y-axis for every trace on the trend. The axis is the same colour as the trace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Select either Single Chart\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0Stacked Chart.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Check the Comment<\/a> option to show triangular markers and the Case <\/a>option to show square markers on the trend.<\/p>\n
