Creating a Time Window<\/h2>\n
Time Windows are created from the Analysis panel.<\/p>\n
1. On the Trend toolbar, click Analysis<\/strong>. The Analysis panel opens to the left of the Trace Window.<\/p>\n 2. In the Analysis panel, select Time Windows<\/strong>.<\/p>\n 3. In the Time Windows panel, click the Add 4. Select Save Time Window. <\/strong>The new Time Window is added to the Time Windows table.<\/p>\n Alternatively, you can click the Time Window<\/strong> The Duration<\/strong> mode is used to view Time Windows and has the effect of changing the x-axis so that it starts at 0, and represents a period of time, rather than a time range.<\/p>\n When the Duration mode is turned on, Time Windows are automatically enabled, with the Time Windows table being shown to the right of the Trace Table.<\/p>\n The Time Windows table can be toggled on and off by selecting the Time Windows button in the Trend toolbar; it is only displayed if the Trace Table is toggled on.<\/p>\n Time Windows can only be shown for data items that have been added to a trend. So, if you\u2019ve added Tag A and Tag B to the trend, you will see Time Windows for those tags.<\/p>\n If a tag has multiple associated time windows, they will be grouped with each window in a different shade of the same colour.<\/p>\n In the Duration mode,<\/p>\n You can customize which Time Windows appear in the table by using Column Settings (accessible via the column settings Sorting and grouping options are available from the column dropdown menus. You can apply ascending or descending sorts to multiple columns, and the order in which columns are selected determines the sorting precedence.<\/p>\n Grouping can also be applied to multiple columns. Grouping actions are always applied before any sorting.<\/p>\n The trace and time window tables can be resized both horizontally and vertically by using grip handles. To resize, click and hold the grip handle, then drag it in the desired direction to adjust the table size.<\/p>\n To edit a Time Window, click the Edit The Analysis panel will open with the Time Windows tab automatically selected, enabling you to make changes to that Time Window.<\/p>\n The Time Windows option in the Explorer Trend extends the capabilities of the trend to associate time windows with event data.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n\n
