In Field Operator, trends can be used to view real-time diagnostic data from P2 Explorer.<\/p>\n

Trends are a feature of the Route Surveillance capability, which is an optional component of Field Operator.<\/p>\n

Overview<\/h2>\n

A trend displays time-series data, such as attribute values, over a selected period of time.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong><\/td>\nEntity<\/strong><\/td>\nName of the currently selected entity.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2.<\/strong><\/td>\nAttribute<\/strong><\/td>\nName of the attribute that is the trend.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3.<\/strong><\/td>\nHairline<\/strong><\/a><\/td>\nA hairline, displaying the exact reading at a particular point in time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4.<\/strong><\/td>\nTrend<\/strong><\/td>\nThe plot of the attribute readings against time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
5.<\/strong><\/td>\nLegend<\/strong><\/td>\nThe graph legend.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6.<\/strong><\/td>\nDuration<\/strong><\/td>\nThe time interval of the trend.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
7.<\/strong><\/td>\nInterval<\/strong><\/td>\nThe sample interval; the elapsed time between data points.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hairline<\/h3>\n

The hairline allows you to see the data values on a graph, or\u00a0trend, at a particular point in time.<\/p>\n

Finding a Trend<\/h2>\n

The Trends button is found on the Navigation Ribbon<\/a> in Map View<\/a>, Grid View<\/a>, or Location Detail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Map View<\/h3>\n

The list of trends is displayed by location, or by entity, in the Information Panel on the left side of the screen.<\/p>\n

By location:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Select Locations \"\" in the Navigation Ribbon.<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Select Trends \"\" from a location summary.<\/p>\n
