class=\"overview\">The Embedded Trend component is used to embed a simplified trend within an Explorer page, and is used for quick and simple diagnostics of time series data.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">With an embedded trend, you can:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"intro-text\">\n<li>Drag and drop time series data labels from the page onto the embedded trend.<\/li>\n<li>Drag and drop tags and attributes from the Navigators onto the embedded trend.<\/li>\n<li>Add hairlines to see more detailed information.<\/li>\n<li>Add comments to tags at a point in time.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click on the trend from a data label on the same page or a different page, from the Tags Navigator, or from the Hierarchy Navigator.<\/p>\n<h3>From the Navigators<\/h3>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">You can drag and drop attributes from the Attribute Panel (accessed via the Hierarchy Navigator) and tags from the Tags Navigator onto the embedded trend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"left-bar\">Related: <a Data Labels<\/h3>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">You can add a data label's value onto the embedded trend, if the value is a tag or an attribute.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Simply drag and drop the data is displayed next to values that may be removed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"note\">Note: Values added during page design are unable to be removed, and do not show the remove icon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"page-subheading\">Opening a Full Trend<\/h2>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">To open a full trend from the embedded trend, right-click on the embedded trend, and then click <strong>Open Trend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">All of the traces on the embedded trend will appear in a\u00a0<strong>New Trend<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><a
