Sentinel-raised cases have titles configured in Sentinel, that can contain Sentinel tokens, such as the event time, the monitor name, and so on.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 24px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\"><strong>Entity<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\">The entity is the subject of a case. Every case is linked to an Explorer entity.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 48px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 48px;\"><strong>Status<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 48px;\">The status should be updated as the case progresses. For example: 'New' -&gt; 'Investigating' -&gt; 'Closed'.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 72px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 72px;\"><strong>Assigned To<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 72px;\">You can update the <em>Assigned To<\/em> user, from a list of users who have read privileges for that case's entity, to bring this case to their attention. While any user with privileges for a case can update it, it is ideally the <em>Assigned To<\/em> person who manages their own cases.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 24px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\"><strong>Due Date<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\">Ideally, the case will be resolved by this date. Overdue cases are highlighted in pale red.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 48px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 48px;\"><strong>Category<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 48px;\">The category is used for logically grouping cases, and can also be used to filter the table contents (for example, you can choose to just view 'Environmental' cases.)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 48px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 48px;\"><strong>Time Open<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 48px;\">The elapsed time from when the case was created until it was Closed, Rejected or Deprecated. For open cases, it is the elapsed time from when it was raised until current time.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 24px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\"><strong>Created By<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\">The user logged-on when the case was created.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 24px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\"><strong>Created Date<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\">The date and time the case was manually created, or raised by Sentinel.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 24px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\"><strong>Closed Date<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 24px;\">The date and time the case was closed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 class=\"page-subheading\">Sorting Cases<\/h2>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">All columns in the Cases Table can be sorted by Ascending, Descending, or Group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Sorting options can be applied to one, or multiple columns at any one time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">To sort on a column data field:<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">1. Click on the drop down arrow on the right side of a column title block.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">2. As more columns are sorted, the order of precedence continues to be allocated sequentially.<\/p>\n<p><a
