You can choose the Select All option, or you can select individual options from the list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Show rows with value that<\/strong>:\u00a0This section allows you to type a character or number to compare with the values in the filter column.<\/p>\n<p class=\"left-bar\">Note: If a column contains characters, the text box is followed by an alphabet <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"21\" height=\"22\" class=\"wp-image-59448\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/word-image-58825-3.png\" \/> icon. For case-sensitive matching, click on the alphabet icon. If there is no alphabet icon, type a number into the text box.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">There are three optional fields to complete:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"intro-text\"><em>Comparison 1<\/em>\n<ul class=\"intro-text\">\n<li>Select a comparison operator from the first drop-down list, directly below <strong>Show rows with value that<\/strong>. For example, Is equal to, Starts with, Ends with, and so on.<\/li>\n<li>Type a comparison in the first text box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Select <strong>And<\/strong> or <strong>Or<\/strong>, if you want to compare two values.<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\"><em>Comparison 2<\/em>\n<ul class=\"intro-text\">\n<li>Select a comparison operator from last drop-down list. For example, Is equal to, Starts with, Ends with, and so on.<\/li>\n<li>Type a comparison in the second text box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Filter<\/strong>:\u00a0To apply the selected filters and options, click the <strong>Filter<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Clear Filter<\/strong>:\u00a0To clear the selected filters and options, click the <strong>Clear Filter<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Close the filter<\/strong>:\u00a0To close the filter box, click the <strong>Close<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"12\" height=\"15\" class=\"wp-image-59449\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/word-image-58825-4.png\" \/> button at the top right.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 class=\"page-subheading\">Sorting Columns<\/h2>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Many of the columns in the Sentinel data grids can be sorted in ascending or descending order.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">To sort by a column, click the column header to toggle through the various options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Click once to sort ascending.<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Click twice to sort descending.<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Click three times to remove sorting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 class=\"page-subheading\">Grouping by a Column in a Grid<\/h2>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">In Sentinel, some of the grids have a grouping capability. For example, in the View Events screen you can group by a column header for the following columns:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Monitor<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Asset<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Entity<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">State<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Severity<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Grouped columns allow you to organise the contents of the grid more easily. For example, if you group by <strong>Asset<\/strong>, each different asset has a single row in the grid, which you can expand to view the different rows (or groups) within that asset.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">In the screenshot below, you can see groupings of Asset, Entity and State.
