{"id":58888,"date":"2023-02-17T15:04:19","date_gmt":"2023-02-17T07:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/sentinel\/sentinel-reporting\/linking-to-asset-report\/"},"modified":"2024-07-09T09:22:52","modified_gmt":"2024-07-09T01:22:52","slug":"linking-to-asset-report","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/sentinel\/sentinel-reporting\/linking-to-asset-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Linking to the Asset Report via URL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"intro-text\">There is a URL command for the Asset Report, using the <strong>AssetReport.aspx<\/strong> page on the Sentinel Server.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">The following URL applies to the Asset Report:<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">https:\/\/[server name]\/Sentinel\/AssetReport.aspx?Asset=[asset name]&amp;MonitorIds=[monitor ids]&amp;Private=[Private]&amp;AddComment=[true\/false]&amp;ShowEventId=[EventId]<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">The first section of the URL is always:<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><em>https:\/\/[server name]\/Sentinel\/AssetReport.aspx<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">where [server name] is the name of the Sentinel Server.\u00a0The remaining portion of the URL lists the parameters as follows:<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><em>?Asset=[assetname]&amp;MonitorIds=[monitor ids]&amp;Private=[Private]<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Asset<\/strong>:\u00a0The name of the asset to show events for, for example \"Well 1\".\u00a0Note: The asset parameter is case sensitive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>History<\/strong>:\u00a0The history limits the amount of data displayed in the report. You can choose to display data for the past hour, day, week, month, 3 months, 6 months, year, or 2 years.\u00a0Use one of the following values:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"intro-text\">\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Hour<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Day<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Week<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Month<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">3 Months<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">6 Months<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Year<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">2 Years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Time<\/strong>:\u00a0You can specify the report to display events within a defined time window. Depending on the History selected, you can choose from day, shift, week, month, 30 days, or year.\u00a0Use one of the following values:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"intro-text\">\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Hour<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Shift<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Day<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Week<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">30 Days<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Month<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">3 Months<\/li>\n<li class=\"intro-text\">Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Snap<\/strong>:\u00a0Set to <em><strong>True<\/strong> <\/em>or <strong><em>False<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong>This controls the Start Time and End Time, and the time slider. The end time is always the current time, and the start time is one time window period in the past. For example, if the <em><strong>time window<\/strong><\/em> is set to an hour, the end time is set to current time, and the start time is set to one hour ago.\u00a0Use in conjunction with the <em><strong>Time<\/strong> <\/em>parameter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>StartTime<\/strong>:\u00a0You can choose to display events with a specific start and end time, instead of specifying a time window.\u00a0If you are using the StartTime parameter, you need to use the EndTime parameter as well.\u00a0The format is: <strong>ddMMyyyyHHmmSS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>EndTime<\/strong>:\u00a0You can choose to display events with a specific start and end time, instead of specifying a time window.\u00a0If you are using the EndTime parameter, you need to use the StartTime parameter as well.\u00a0The format is: <strong>ddMMyyyyHHmmSS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>MonitorIds<\/strong>:\u00a0(Optional) A semicolon-separated list of monitors to select when the report is opened; for example \"1;2;3\" will cause monitors with these ids to be selected, if present in the report.\u00a0Note: This parameter is used internally by Sentinel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>Private<\/strong>:\u00a0(Optional) Set to <strong>True<\/strong> to include events from the user's private workspace (My Workspace). Otherwise, set to <strong>False<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>AddComment<\/strong>:\u00a0(Optional) Set to <strong>True<\/strong> to open the <strong>Event, Info and Comment<\/strong> screen, with the cursor in the comment box, in the <strong>Comments<\/strong> tab, ready for you to add a new comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"337\" height=\"169\" class=\"wp-image-60003\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58888-1.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58888-1.png 337w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58888-1-150x75.png 150w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58888-1-48x24.png 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 337px) 100vw, 337px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"note\">Note: This parameter works in conjunction with the ShowEventId parameter (described below). If this is not set, then the AddComment parameter will not work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><strong>ShowEventId<\/strong>:\u00a0(Optional) Set this parameter to an event id to open the <strong>Event, Info and Comment<\/strong> screen, for a particular event.
