If you want to re-run a monitor from the time before it was first created, you can do so by using the Latest Version mode (see below). You need appropriate security privileges to re-run a monitor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">If Case Management is enabled in Sentinel, then all cases that were previously raised by the monitor\u2019s events since the Start Time specified in the Re-Run are deprecated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">1. In the Workspace panel, locate the <strong>monitor<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"20\" class=\"wp-image-59959\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-1.png\" \/> that you want to re-run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">2. Right-click on the monitor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">3. Select <strong>Re-Run<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"12\" class=\"wp-image-59960\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-2.png\" \/> from the monitor menu.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">The <strong>Re-Run Monitor<\/strong> screen appears.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"315\" height=\"265\" class=\"wp-image-59961\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-3.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-3.png 315w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-3-150x126.png 150w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-3-48x40.png 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 315px) 100vw, 315px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">4. To select a start date and time, click the calendar <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"7\" height=\"7\" class=\"wp-image-59962\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-4.png\" \/> icon in the <strong>Start Time<\/strong> edit box. The default date and time is 12:00 AM of the current date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">5. If you want actions to be raised, select the <strong>Re-send actions<\/strong> check box. Actions will be sent where they are triggered, for the entire period covered by the re-run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">7. If you want to raise cases, select the <strong>Raise Cases<\/strong> check box.\u00a0Note: This option is only available if <strong>Case Management<\/strong> is enabled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">8. Click <strong>OK.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">9. Click <strong>Yes<\/strong> on the <strong>Re-Run Monitor<\/strong> confirmation screen that appears.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"497\" height=\"185\" class=\"wp-image-59965\" src=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-7.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-7.png 497w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-7-150x56.png 150w, https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/word-image-58916-7-48x18.png 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"note\">Note: All the events and related comments from the selected re-run start date will be deleted as part of the re-run, and cases will be deprecated. New events will be generated according to the re-run option you select.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">The monitor starts the re-run immediately, starting from the selected start time and continuing into current time, using the selected re-run mode.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Note that while the monitor is re-running over historical data, current events are not triggered. You may edit a monitor while it is undergoing a re-run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"note\">Note: You cannot re-run a quantized monitor if it does not have a full period of data to process. Let\u2019s say the current time is 4:30 and we have a quantized monitor set to run at hourly intervals (commencing at the beginning of the hour and ending at the end of the hour). <br \/>\nIf you schedule a monitor re-run for, say, 3:45, the re-run will snap to the nearest hour (4:00) due to it being a quantized monitor, and it will attempt to re-run the period commencing at 4:00.
