It also combines the three separate databases of P2 Server, P2 Explorer, and P2 Security into a single database.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">This release introduces the concept of the <strong>Info Zone<\/strong> \u2013 an area on the right side of the Explorer screen which displays context-sensitive information in a new <strong>Explore panel<\/strong>. This takes the concept of the \u201cTable of Contents\u201d in previous releases of Explorer, to the next level. For this release, comments and display information will appear in this zone, with more to come in future releases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">In the near future, the Info Zone will also perform as a general display area for easy access to selected standalone functions that have an isolated output, such as alerts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Other new features include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"intro-text\">\n<li>Updated <strong>commentary<\/strong> infrastructure \u2013 the comments window has been integrated with the Explore panel. Through security, it is now also possible for a role to be created which enables users to edit or delete any comment in the system regardless of who initially wrote the comment.<\/li>\n<li>New and more intuitive <strong>security interface<\/strong> for assigning roles and permissions.<\/li>\n<li>New <strong>Knowledge Management<\/strong> component allows users to capture information about the page or component in the Explore panel.<\/li>\n<li>New <strong>Trend Zoom<\/strong> feature, which allows users to focus on a selected area of trend.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Point Details<\/strong> now available from Trend and Attributes Panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"intro-text\">Please contact your administrator to obtain Release Notes for P2 Server and P2 Explorer Release v4.6.0, available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/p2energysolutions.my.salesforce-sites.com\/\">P2 Customer Portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"left-bar\">Read the Release Notes:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oihelp.corporate.ifs.com\/help\/p2-explorer\/explorer-releases\/explorer-release-4-6-0\/\">P2 Explorer 4.6.0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>P2 Explorer version 4.6  is a minor release that consolidates what was previously three installers into one.
